3. Lipid-lowering drugs, such as kaulethylene amine and kaulethipol, mineral oil and aluminum sulfate, can interfere with vitamin E absorption.
4. Iron deficiency anemia increases the need for vitamin E when iron supplementation.
5. Vitamin E can promote the absorption of vitamin A, intrahepatic vitamin A storage and utilization increase, and reduce the occurrence of vitamin A toxicity; but excess can reduce the vitamin A body storage.
Overdose] Vitamin E can cause blurred vision, enlarged mammary glands, dizziness, headache, flu-like syndrome, diarrhea, stomach cramps and weakness and weakness, and occasionally can cause uric acidosis. Vitamin K deficiency patients can cause bleeding symptoms.
Pharmacology and Toxicology
1.Pharmacology Vitamin E belongs to antioxidants, can be combined with dietary selenium, to prevent the membrane and other cellular structures of the polyvalent unsaturated ester acid from free radicals damage; protection of erythrocytes from hemolysis, protection of nerves and muscles from oxygen radicals damage, to maintain the normal development of nerves, muscles and function of the two if it may also be some of the enzyme system of cofactors. Essential fish oil is mainly composed of ethyl eicosapentaenoic acid and ethyl docosahexaenoic acid, containing more unsaturated bonds, has a strong role in adjusting blood lipids, and also has vasodilatation and anti-thrombotic effect. The mechanism of action is to promote neutral or acidic cholesterol from fecal excretion, inhibit intrahepatic lipid and lipoprotein synthesis, can reduce plasma cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL, VLDL, and increase HDL.Evening Primrose Oil has the effect of lowering triglyceride, cholesterol and B-lipoprotein.
2.Toxicology: Toxicology test proved that the acute toxicity test in mice got the maximum drug resistance of 14.74g/Kg, so this product has no obvious toxic side effects.
Pharmacokinetics] Vitamin E 50% ~ 80% in the intestinal absorption (duodenum), absorption requires the presence of bile salts and dietary fat as well as normal pancreatic function, and the blood B-lipoproteins, stored in the systemic tissues, especially in the adipose tissue, the amount of storage can be as high as 4 years for the needs of hepatic metabolism, through the bile and renal excretion.
