Measurement principle
The water sample is oxidized by the oxidant ammonium persulfate, and in an alkaline environment and in the presence of an indicator (butanedione oxime), it reacts with the indicator to produce a colorful complex, which is detected by the analyzer and converted to a total nickel value output. The amount of colorful complex generated is equivalent to the total amount.
