Measurement principle
Trivalent iron ions in water samples are reduced to ferrous ions by hydrochloric acid hydroxylamine, under the action of the buffer, ferrous ions and o-phenanthroline reaction, generating a colorful complex, the analyzer detects the change of this color, and converts this change into the total iron value output. The amount of colorful complex generated is equivalent to the total iron amount.
