Measuring Principle

　　When the pH value is 1.8±0.3, nitrite ion reacts with 4-aminobenzenesulfonamide to produce diazonium salt, then coupled with N-(1-naphthalenyl)-ethylenediamine hydrochloride to produce red dye, and the absorbance is measured at 540nm.
