[Ingredient] Leigongtengduogan Pian

[Characters] This product is light yellow to brownish-yellow tablets; slightly bitter and astringent taste.

[Functions: Dispelling wind and detoxicating, removing dampness and swelling, relaxing tendons and collaterals. It has anti-inflammatory, cellular immunity and humoral immunity inhibition effects. It is used for rheumatoid arthritis, nephrotic syndrome, leprosy, leprosy reaction, autoimmune hepatitis caused by rheumatism, heat and stagnation of venom.

[Specification] 10 mg.

[Dosage] Oral. 1-1.5 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, divided into three doses after meals, or as directed by a physician.

[Adverse effects]

1. Digestive system: dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, diarrhea, jaundice, elevated aminotransferases; acute toxic liver injury and gastric hemorrhage may occur in severe cases.

2. Hematologic system: decrease in white blood cells and platelets; in severe cases, granulocyte deficiency and decreased total blood cells may occur.

3. Urinary system: renal damage such as oliguria or polyuria, edema, abnormal renal function; in severe cases, acute renal failure may occur.

4. Cardiovascular system: palpitation, chest tightness, arrhythmia, elevated or decreased blood pressure, abnormal electrocardiogram.

5. Reproductive and endocrine systems: menstrual disorders, low menstrual flow or amenorrhea in women; reduced sperm count and decreased vitality in men.

6. Nervous system: dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, insomnia, neuritis, diplopia.

7. Others: rash, itching, hair loss, facial hyperpigmentation.

[Contraindications]

1. Contraindicated in children, persons of childbearing age who have the requirement of pregnancy and childbearing, pregnant and lactating women.

2. Prohibited in patients with cardiac, hepatic and renal insufficiency; prohibited in patients with severe anemia, lowered white blood cells and platelets.

3. Contraindicated in patients with active gastric and duodenal ulcers.

4. It is contraindicated in patients with severe cardiac arrhythmia.
